Flavor Trippin’
Flavor Trippin’ is a bold new QSR brand co-developed by California-based food hall Local Kitchens and celebrated New Orleans chef Mason Hereford. Together, they’ve crafted a mouthwatering menu of highly craveable salads and sandwiches, available exclusively at Local Kitchens. Rooted in nostalgia, the concept draws from Mason’s family recipes, classic neighborhood diners, and the unique snacks you’d pick up at gas stations on weekend road trips.
In collaboration with Mason and the Local Kitchens team, we developed Flavor Trippin’s brand world—playful, irreverent, and filled with quirky nostalgia. The identity combines Haight-Ashbury counterculture, '80s cartoons, and the spirit of cross-country trucking road trips, transforming the familiar into something unexpected and exciting—just like the menu.
